Stampin’ Spots are a GREAT way to try out a bunch of colors for less than the price of 4 full sized ink pads.  They are also useful for inking small parts of a stamp and can be used for watercoloring as well!

Instead of the 3x3 cards you can make full size cards using the 3x3 layer.  I will not provide envelopes with this size card choice.   You MUST let me know which you will be making at the time of registering.  Here is a sample of one 3x3 size made into a full size card.

St. Patrick's Day Card

 
Can you see I used the Hugs and the Finial Press embossing folder again?  I am loving both of these!  I punched out 3 hearts to make the shamrock, and used Define Your Life for the "Lucky" definition.  The greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  This stamp set has 24 different sentiments and can be stamped and punched with the Word Window punch or the Modern Label punch. Here I used the large oval and the scallop oval punches. Colors used are Green Galore and Gable Green, and Basic Black. The Define Your Life stamp set is one of the most expensive stamp sets that Stampin'Up! has and it can be yours FREE if you sign on as a Stampin'Up! This card uses the Hugs (white rectangular piece), Stampin'Up!'s Lil' Paws embosslist, bashful blue satin ribbon, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions folder, and the Big Shot.  The card base is bashful blue with chocolate chip and creamy caramel.  Welcome Little One is from the Nursery Necessities stamp set.  The word window punch punches this out perfectly and it is layered onto the Modern Label punched out piece.

Sponge and Ink Pad Tips

At Leadership we received these tips.  Cut your sponges into eighths.  Punch out colors of cardstock using the round tab punch.  Staple these onto your cut sponges.  Then label.  I used a label maker but you could just use a sharpie or pen.  Now you have your sponge color labeled so you don't grab the wrong color when you are sponging your cardstock.  When you have more than one ink pad open, it is hard to tell the difference between the colors you are using. Chocolate Chip and Basic Black look very similar.  I punched out the ink pad color out of the same colored cardstock, using the word window punch.  I did have to trim it down to fit.  Use mini glue dots to adhere to the recessed part of the pad lid.  Here are a couple of pics to explain this.

 

Wanted stamp set

I received the Wanted Stamp set free at convention a couple of years ago.  I really like this set for making masculine birthday cards.  This card was made for my cousin's 60th surprise birthday party. He grew up with horses on the farm.

Here I go again.  Still having fun with this die and this stamp set.  The layout is pretty much the same, but have tried different color combos.  One uses Bermuda Bay, black, and white, and the other uses, Lovely, Lilac, Blush Blossom, Almost Amethyst, Pale Plum, and Very Vanilla.  Both use the Beautiful Wings embosslit, Two Tags Die,  and the finial press embossing folder so the Big Shot was in use again!
