Here is another one I did for another swap! It is hard to see but the words are stamped several times down the left side of the card. Colors are Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette, and Basic Black. The butterfly was done with markers. Love those pearls! They add the finishing touch! Also used the ribbon border punch. This stamp set will be available May lst and $2 from the sale of each set goes to Breast Cancer Research!

Today's card uses the Pun Fun stamp set, $32.95, set of 8, page 76 of the Stampin'Up! Catalog. This set is so versatile with cute watercoloring images with the sentiment below it! My goal today was to make a boy birthday card using the brayering technique on an embossing folder (square lattice). I did this a year ago I think on a baby girl card. This also uses the Celebrations designer series paper. The card base is Bashful Blue but does not look like it in this photo. Other colors used are Real Red and Pacific Point.

This set will be available May lst and $2 from the sale of each set goes to Breast Cancer Research! I am thinking about having a class with this set. Your fee will include the stamp set and probably the Basic Pearls. I am not sure of the details yet but I am also thinking of doing a Class by Mail for those who can't attend. Let me know your thoughts on this! Okay, for this card I used the Lattice Die to make the cross, and then ran it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice embossing folder. Colors are Pink Pirouette, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla. The cross is raised up on very thin strips of dimensionals but I think I will use the mini glue dots for my next ones. I am making this for a swap with my downline tonight. The card base is Very Vanilla. I just took the photo on the pink cardstock.

Decided to use my Travel Log Stamp set that I received free at Leadership in Nashville for a graduation card. This set will be available May lst. The sentiment is from the Word Play stamp set. I stamped the map stamp, covered it with copy paper, and stamped again so I could get a bigger stamped image. I also used the Square Lattice embossing folder for the background texture. Red and Black are Yankton's school colors.

I smashed a bottle cap with my Big Shot and punched the flower with the 1" circle punch and then used an epoxy cover. This is a new bottle cap. I haven't had much luck with used ones. I used the Bold Blossom stamp set, scallop border and word window punches. I ran the inside Certainly Celery piece and the decorative label piece through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. After I adhered the Certainly Celery piece on the inside end, I then cut from the upper corner to a centered pierced hole about 2 inches from the open end of the card. Then I did the same thing going from the bottom corner up to the centered pierced hole. The green piece then slides over the front. This technique was shown at Leadership in January and demonstrated by Bonnie Thurber. I hope this makes sense. I hope my card isn't too "busy", but just couldn't stop once I started playing, lol. Colors are Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Melon Mambo, and whisper white. The card base is 3 x 12 inches and will fit in our small open end envelopes, #107286 (20) for $7.50. Here is another one. The heart with the sentiment is the one that was die cut at the same time the card was die cut and scored. I used the heart punch to layer the words over the die cut heart from the previous card. All of the Punch Window dies and the curly label die that you use with the Magnetic Movers and Shapers die are slightly larger than our coordinating punches so you can layer them. Then I used the Scalloped Heart of Hearts embosslit to layer over the other die cut heart. I think I will play around with black and white next.

I love the Magnetic Movers and Shapers Bigz Die! You run it through the Big Shot and it cuts your card AND scores it, AND cuts out the magnetic shape, which is the heart on this card. Then I ran it through the Big Shot again using the Elegant Lines embossing folder. Cardstock is Blushing Bride and whisper white. See the pearls. Love those adhesive back Basic Pearls, page 188, $4.95 for 150 pearls in 3 different sizes! What a deal! And they are so fun to use! The sentiment is from the Word Play stamp set and is on the inside of the card, peeking through the die cut heart. I should say it is easiest to use a piece of cardstock that is 12 x 4.5, but I am so frugal I cut it at 4.25 x 11 and I have to be very careful placing it on the die. Also the Blushing Bride cardstock is a much prettier color in real life.
