A few of us Stampin'Up! demonstrators go to a stamping meeting at Lisa's in Sioux Falls. We usually eat at Olive Garden and just have a fun day together. Here are a few of us eating lunch. Sarah, Robin, and Anna are in my downline, and Katie is a sideline. Want to join us once a month for this outing or once a month at my downline meetings in Yankton? We swap cards, make projects, share ideas, business tips, and laughter! Right now the starter kit is 15% discounted. Visit my website, www.starzlstamps.stampinup.net and click on the Start Your Own Business button to learn more or join my team. My password is Patches. Shelli, Stampin'Up!'s cofounder will do 24 workshops in the next few months at the home of the demonstrators recruiting the most new demonstrators. BUT today is the last day for this recruiting challenge. We are a fun bunch of gals. I have downline several states away too but you can still join my team from afar!

Stampers attending convention or Leadership get to shop at Stampin'Up!'s logo store! Woo Hoo! This is so exciting and stampers go wild at the new selections Stampin'Up! surprises us with. Here are a couple of items I purchased. Will try and post more pictures later, but I am off to stamp in Sioux Falls. The vinyl bag can be yours if you hostess a workshop outside of my stamp clubs. This can be a catalog or an in home workshop (your home or mine).

Isn't this the coolest box? I just had my lst delivery of the month a couple of nights ago. I knew this new logo would be on this box. I have a funny story to share about this. One of my married daughter's cat suddenly died and needed Dad to take care of it. Of course the ground is frozen solid so it has to wait in a box in the barn. I thought it a good thing it is not waiting in one of these boxes but it would make a funny story if it was and someone opened it! Okay, sorry for the visual, but it is a thought that ran through my head. Sorry Ebeth!
Want to host a workshop and have one of these boxes (minus the cat) delivered to your door? You can host a catalog workshop, or have me come to your home or have it right here at my home. Now is a great time as it is Sale A Bration, so you earn a free stamp set, punch, or designer paper from the Sale A Bration catalog. Contact me to learn more.

Here are a couple of pics of quilt blocks using the bigz petal card die and the 5 point 3D star die. These are not sewn to the block, but just laid out so you can see what you can do with them. Since both of these dies have score lines, you can only die cut 3 at a time. If there were no score lines, you could die cut 8 at a time. I did use the small scallop circle from the scallop circle #2 die for the center of the flower. These can be cut 8 at a time. To get the heart, just cut two "petals" off of the petal card die. These dies are all used with the Big Shot die cutting machine. If you are interested in the Big Shot, it is $99.95. Right now is a super time to spend $100 as it is Sale A Bration, which means for every $50 spent before tax and shipping, you receive your choice of a FREE stamp set, the scallop trim border punch, or the Welcome Neighbor designer series pad. With the Big Shot, you can create die cuts with any of our exclusive Stampin'Up! dies or any Sizzix die. Machine includes standard cutting pads and multipurpose platform.

These are soooooooooo cute and simple to make. Use an 11 or 12 inch long by 1 inch wide strip of designer paper or cardstock. Score at half an inch from one end, then score every inch from that lst score line. You will have half an inch at the end. Fold up accordian style, then use your handy dandy crop a dile (love this tool) to punch a hole through all layers (not the end half inch layers) with just one squeeze! This hole is slightly smaller than a pencil width but push the pointed end of a sharpened pencil through all the holes first, then a new pencil will just slide through easy peasy. I used the large and small oval punches to make the antennae. The pink circle is the 1 1/4 circle punch with the small crop a dile hole punch used to punch out the eyes. (sounds cruel, hehehe). I attached this circle to a 1 3/8 black circle with the antennae adhered between the circles. I outlined the eyes with the white gel pen and drew the nose and mouth with the black marker. The head was attached with a dimensional. Hearts were punched out of the SendingLove Specialty paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog.
This idea came from Janet Wakeland who got it from a magazine. These would make cute teacher gifts or if you want sweets, then pixie sticks will work too.

Here are a few pictures of the quilts that were made using different Bigz Dies and Stampin'Up!s Big Shot Die Cutting Machine. You can die cut 8 layers of fabric (if no score lines) and 3 layers (dies with score lines). The flower quilt block Stampin'Up! gave each of the Leadership attendees (1000). This uses the star point die and scallop circle die. You probably heard all of us screaming with excitement when Stampin'Up! surprised us with these!
