Christmas Lodge Stamp set

I did this for the CAS (Clean and Simple) challenge.  Cardstock is Whisper White, Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, and Early Espresso.  I used Garden Green and Early Espresso markers for the lodge, and of course, Dazzling Diamonds.  The strip across the top is from the Frostwood Lodge designer series paper.

Christmas Lodge stamp set Easel Card

Playing around with this set, trying to do an easel card so I keep experimenting where to score.  If anyone has the perfect score measurements, I would be ever so grateful for them.  Thank you in advance!  I used Cherry Cobbler and Whisper white cardstock, and Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green ink/markers.  Then I used the Frostwood Lodge designer series paper and the Cherry Cobbler quilted satin ribbon from the Holiday Mini.  The sentiment is punched with the Decorative Label punch and is from the Many Merry Messages stamp set.  Since this is my first try, I will be tweaking and playing some more.  I am planning a Christmas Card class using this Designer Series Paper.  Details are still being worked out. 

Santa Cellophane Bag Treat

Patty Bennett shared this idea on her blog.  She got the idea from a visit to Susan Adams while attending Founder's Circle.  I did mine just a little different. Love these 1x8 inch cello bags that are in the Holiday Mini, $2.50 for 50 (#124134 - page 11)!  Punches used are the circle punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch pack (#118309 - $16.95, page 210), the ornament punch (#119847 - #!6.95 page 210), the Extra Large oval and large oval (#119859 - $16.95 pg 212), the Large Oval (#119855 -$15.95 pg 212), the 3/4 inch circle (#119873 - $10.95 pg. 212), and the Bird Punch #117191 - $16.95, page 212.  I also used the Elegant Lines and the Snowburts embossing folders, page 218 from the big catalog, and page 33 of the Holiday Mini, $7.95 each. And I used the Silver Glimmer paper which is gorgeous and is much more sparkly than how it looks here.  That is on page 41 of the Holiday Mini, #124005, $4.95! The Uni-ball Signo Gel Pen, $105021, page 203, $3.95 was used on the eyes.

Holiday Stocking Bigz Die, Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper

I die cut this so that it is just a bit shorter and the Frostwood Lodge DSP Stocking is scored and folded over the Whisper White stocking so that is opens up.  I made it shorter so that it will fit inside our Medium Square Whisper White envelopes, which are 5.5 x 5.5 inches, page 182, #107289 (20) for $6.50.  I die cut Garden Green cardstock for the top cuff and the heel & toe.  Then I also die cut the sparkly strip with the Silver Glimmer paper from the Holiday mini, page 41, 124005, $4.95 (Gorgeous!).  The snowflake is die cut from the Northern Frost Sizzlit Strip, page 225, #120901, $21.95.  The sentiment is from Petite Pairs stamp set, page 164, a must have set because you have both the outside and inside sentiments to use on your cards. I used the Decorative Label punch, punched in the same way as my previously posted baby card, then layered on Cherry Cobbler cardstock punched with the scallop oval punch.  The button is from the Holly Berry Bouquet, page 22 of the Holiday Mini, and is part of the Holiday Mini accessory share (a previous post), as are the Stitched Felt Winter Wishes, page 30 of the Holiday Mini, #124108, $9.95.

Pumpkin Toostie Pop treat!

 

I saw this on Sandy Hancock's blog.  She didn't know who the original creator was, so if it is you, please let me know and I will give you credit.  I die cut 8 of the largest oval on the Bigz Ovals die #119860, then punched out a 1 3/8 inch circle out of the center of one and then just lined that oval over each of the other ovals, punching through one at a time.  Fold each oval in half and adhere together.  I used snail.  I cut the stem down and covered with a 1 x 1 1/4 inch piece of Early Espresso cardstock, wrapping it around the stem and adhering with sticky strip.  Put your sucker inside before adhering the last ovals together.  Then cut two 1/8 inch strips of green scrap (this is Old Olive), tie one around the stem, and then slide the other strip in behind the knot.  Curl with a pencil.  I didn't add a greeting like she did.  I thought they make cute, simple, decorations. 

Downline meeting with the Latte Ladies!

We made cards and mustache suckers, and swapped.  It ended up being a small group at the last minute but we shared some laughter and fun anyway.  Here are some pics of some of the swaps/projects.  Wanted to get a picture of all of us sporting our mustache suckers using the Many Mustaches stamp, but everyone left before it got done, so now I have just the "bad" picture of me with mine! Some of the items we made have been posted previously, so I won't repeat them here.  The Stitched Stockings stamp set and Stocking Builder punch was used on several of these. Christmas Lodge stamp set, Pop Out card?

I am going to post a series of views on this card.  I do not know what it is called so if you do, let me know and I can change the post title.  I got the idea from Dawn Griffith who made Halloween cards for her Founder's Circle swaps.  I used the Simply Scored scoring tool again which is on page 6 & 7 of the Holiday Mini, $29.95, #122334.  I also used the Frostwood Lodge designer series paper, page 28 of the Holiday Mini, #124002, $10.95.  Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, and Whisper White.  Garden Green is the ink.  I added the scalloped border to make the card wider so it fits into our medium envelopes better.  Thanks, Robin, for the idea to add this.  The sentiment on the center back side is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, page 157, #115370, $36.95 (a must have set - 24 sentiments that fit perfectly inside the Word Window punch).
