Christmas Lodge Stamp set, Simply Scored

 

I won the Christmas Lodge stamp set at convention this summer and am now just getting around to using it.  Working on a swap for my downline meeting.  I tried to get the picture to show the Dazzling Details, an iridescent glitter glue which is on page 41 of the Holiday Mini for $2.50 a bottle, #124117.  I also used the new Simply Scored Scoring tool which is on page 7 of the Holiday Mini, #122334, $29.95. Can you see the scored frame around the stamped image?  Colors are Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, and Very Vanilla.  Well, off to play some more!

Stocking Builder Punch, Flirtatious Specialty Designer Series Paper

First I must say that this card is PINK PIROUETTE!  It does not look like it here but in real life, it is a sweet, soft pink!  (I have deleted the first photo and inserted a better one - daylight does make a difference).  Have you ever thought you had bought a stamp set and then find out that you didn't?  I can't believe that I didn't buy the Stitched Stockings stamp set on page 34 of the Holiday Mini catalog.  I was all set to make a baby card with it, and wanted to show you that this set does not have to be used just for Christmas!  So I had to make do and I think my card turned out well!  It was shown at convention that you could use that set to make a baby card and I can't find that picture either.  Grrrrrrrr, not my night!  I used the  Stocking Builder Punch, page 34 of the Holiday Mini catalog, #124095, $16.95 to punch out 2 white stockings.  Then I cut them down so they were short socks.  I punched out the additional sock parts from the same punch, only in Pink Pirouette.  Then I adhered together, and ran them through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, $7.95, #117335.  The beautiful doily circle is cut from the Flirtatious Specialty designer series paper, page 183 of the Idea Book and Catalog, #122360, $12.95.  I used the White Baker's Twine for the booties, page 194, #124262, $2.95, and the 5/8 inch Organza Ribbon, #114319, page 195, $5.95.  Now did you notice the sentiment?  It is from the Petite Pairs stamp set, page 164.  Are you trying to figure out the punch?  Well it is the Decorative Label punch, page 209, #120907, $16.95.  I just punched it twice using the short ends as the top and bottom.  Patty Bennett shows how to do this on her blog or I can show you at workshop! Hershey Nugget Holder, It's a Wrap Holidays stamp set.

I don't have any current Halloween designer paper so decided to use my Mocha Morning specialty designer series paper and I think it worked out just fine.  This paper is flocked, too!  The idea is cased from Angie Juda.  She used Halloween dsp and Black Taffeta ribbon which I don't have. The base is 2 inches by 1 5/16ths.  Then punch (2)  1 3/4 inch scallop circles for the sides. I used 1x 3 inch Whisper White strips to stamp the EEK stamp, using the Lucky Limeade and Basic Black markers.  I did adhere the nuggets to the base with mini glue dots.  The ribbon is the 5/8 inch satin ribbon. The stamp set is from the Holiday Mini catalog.   I have Yanton Club tonight so if you would like to add an order to it, to save on shipping, let me know! 

 

 

Batty for You stamp set, Matchbox Die, It's a Wrap Holidays stamp set

Check this out!  I used the Spider Web embossing folder on the matchbox and it holds the Hershey Nuggets candies that I wrapped with cardstock stamped with the It's a Wrap Holidays stamp set.  Colors are Basic Black, Whisper White, and Lucky Limeade.  The ribbon is also the Lucky Limeade ruffled In Color ribbon which was part of the ribbon share done earlier. 

Batty for You Stamp Set, It's A Wrap Holidays Stamp set

I was using the It's a Wrap Holidays Stamp set, wrapping Hershey nuggets (perfect size for this), but decided to make a quick card to show you don't have to use it for wrapping!  I ran the spider web embossing folder through the Big Shot, then brayered Whisper White CRAFT ink over the top.  Colors used are Basic Black and Tangerine Tango, and Whisper White.  Also used the 1 3/4 inch scallop circle, 1 3/8 inch, and 1 inch circle punches.  These are the same punches I used on the cello bag treats.  The bat and sentiment are from the Batty For You stamp set.

The Batty for You stamp set is such an easy set to work with.  Even if you don't celebrate Halloween, there is a stamp with a pumpkin with a smiley face that says "You light up the place with that smile on your face".  This set of 8 is on page 26 of the Idea Book & Catalog, wood mount only, for $23.95.  The 1x8 cello bags are on page 11 of the Holiday Mini Catalog and are $2.50 for 50! Here I stuffed with m&m's, and an individually wrapped licorice stick.  You can also stuff with pencils, skittles, and/or similarly small candies.  Pixie stix should work, too!  I used the 1 3/4 inch scallop circle, 1 3/8" and 1" circle punches. Button Buddies stamp set, Designer Frames, Stitched Felt

There is alot of new product on this card but I think it turned out stink'n cute!  Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White.  See the Oval Frame?  It is from the Designer Frames Embossing Folders Set, #123130 for $8.95 on page 218 of the Stampin'Up! Idea Book and Catalog.  Then I stamped the snowman from the Button Buddies stamp set, page 71, available in clear or wood mount.  The sentiment is from Snow Much Fun, page 35, and the stitched felt, Winter Wishes is from the Holiday Mini, page 30, $9.95.  This is part of the Accessory Share.  Let me know if you are interested.  I am waiting on a couple of checks and placing another order real soon. 

Leaves of a Tree Stamp, Emboss Resist Technique

I did this card for the FTL156 Clean&simple challenge on the Clean & Simple blog, here.  The stamp is an individual stamp from the Holiday Mini, page 43, for $9.95.  I die cut a 3" circle using glossy white cardstock.  Then I stamped the tree with Versamark.  I used clear embossing powder and the heat tool to emboss it, then sponged either Marina Mist or Early Espresso ink.  The ribbon is either Marina Mist or Early Espresso 1/8" taffeta, page 195 of the big Stampin'Up! catalog.  The sentiment is from My Friend, page 139.  I used Very Vanilla on the Early Espresso sample and not glossy white.  I prefer the glossy.  The Glossy White cardstock is found on page 181, and is 25 sheets for $5.95.You could use this card for Thinking of You or Sympathy, Get Well, etc.
