Let’s Get Punchy!

A New Punch Art Class!

 

You are invited to attend my Punch Art Stamp Camp for the month of March! It will be the first in a series of 4 camps. While you are not obligated to attend all 4 of the camps it would be a lot more fun if you did. I mean really? Who doesn't like to play and create with punches?

In this class you’ll create a 6 x 6 scrapbook, which will contain the instructions on how to create all the little creatures, people and more punch art things than you can imagine!

Make three different punch art samples, two of each design. One will be added to a finished card and the other will be put onto a 6x6 sheet of cardstock with the punched pieces as a guide.  This way you can reference it and duplicate it again and again.  Stampin' Up! has the most amazing punches!  Now you can learn loads of new ideas for using them.

The first class will be the 3^rd Thursday of the month, March 15^th, then April 19th, May 17th and June 21st. Classes are from 6:30 - 8:30 pm and cost is $15 or FREE with a $30.00 subtotal product order. Class location is my home.   Don't forget to bring your own adhesive and scissors to class.

Please register by March 4^th with your choice of 6 x 6 ring album for $10.95 (page 190) and additional product to meet a $30 subtotal order and your first class is FREE and you will have your album ready to go.  6 x 6 page protectors are also available.  Payment for the order can be paid the first night of the class. Or you can start the class without your preordered album and just order it the night of the class!

Live too far away to attend?   You can still participate!  The cost is $22 and this includes shipping, the 3 finished 6 x 6 instruction guides and the 3 sample cards.

Blossom Punch, Twitterpated Designer Fabric, Mixed Bunch stamp set

I love using Stampin'Up!'s fabric on cards!  I used the Tasteful Trim Die to die cut the scalloped piece from the Twitterpated designer fabric, #125412, page 12 of the Occasions Mini catalog.  This is placed on the Twitterpated designer series paper, #125406, $10.95, page 13 of the mini.  I stamped the Baja Breeze flower from the Mixed Bunch stamp set, directly on the whisper white card base.  Then on a separate piece of cardstock, I stamped the same flower in Blushing Bride ink.  Then it is punched, using the Blossom Punch, #125603.  The stamp set and the punch are both on page 17 of the Occasions Mini.  I love it when Stampin'Up! has a punch to use with a stamp set!!!  The punched flower is popped up with a dimensional, and has "leaves" made from a circle punch, using Pear Pizzazz cardstock.  The sentiment is from the Sale A Bration choices which means it is FREE with a $50 subtotal purchase.  The set is from the Outlined Occasions stamp set from page 10 of the Sale A Bration brochure.  It is colored in with a Baja Breeze marker.  This card really is so pretty in real life!

Mixed Bunch stamp set, Blossom Punch

The first card was inspired by Dawn Olchefske.  The second card uses the Twitterpated designer fabric, and the Loving Thoughts stamp set, all from the Occasions Mini catalog.  Both cards use the Twitterpated designer series paper and buttons, the Blossom Punch, and the Mixed Bunch stamp set. 

Coming Soon! Simply Scored Diagonal Plate

Mixed Bunch stamp set, Blossom Punch

I copied a layout from Dawn Olchefske and used different colors, sentiment, and designer series paper pattern.  I also used the Twitterpated buttons instead of a brad and I didn't use the Rock & Roll technique, but just sponged my petal edges with Basic Gray.  I love the Basic Gray and Blushing Bride color combo.  I used the Mixed Bunch stamp set and I LOVE when Stampin'Up! has a punch to use with a stamp set. This is the Blossom Punch from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I punched out the flower and then cut off a couple of petals to make the butterfly.  The sentiment is from the FREE Sale A Bration Elementary Elegance stamp set.  The card base is Blushing Bride with a layer of Basic Gray, and Twitterpated designer series paper.

I Dig You stamp set

This one has the sentiment attached.  I wish I would have remembered to add it before I had assembled it all.  Oh, well.  I am really lovin' this set.  It is perfect for those little boy birthday or valentine cards. The dimensions are on my previous post.

I Dig You Stamp set

Here are my Stampin'Up! Valentine sucker treats using the I Dig You stamp set and the Candy Conversations stamp.  In my haste to get them ready, I forgot to stamp "I Dig You", which is also part of the stamp set.  I will do that yet before handing them out.  My Real Red cardstock is 3 x 6.75 inches, with a layer of 2.75 x 2.75 inch Pacific Point and then the focal image is just under 2.75 inch square.  I also used Daffodil Delight, Real Red, and Basic Black Inks, and the small heart punch.  The ribbon is retired but I figure my day care crew won't mind.  I bought flat Valentine Suckers at the dollar store. I was inspired by Wendy Hawkinson who used this set to make her son's Valentine cards.

Fresh Vintage Stamp Set

This was my card I designed for the Leadership shoe box swap.  It uses a lot of FREE Sale a Bration Product.  The Fresh Vintage stamp set is FREE with a $50 subtotal order, and is colored directly on the stamp with Pool Party, Poppy Parade, and Lucky Limeade markers.  Then you breathe on the stamp to remoisten the ink and stamp! The side strip is the FREE Everyday Enchantment designer series paper, and the brad is from the FREE Sale a Bration Ribbon and Brad bundle, each FREE with a $50 subtotal order!  The card base is Very Vanilla, and the scalloped piece on the left is Soft Suede.  The sentiment is from the My Friend stamp set.  The Pool Party piece is textured with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.

Another Rue Des Fleurs stamp set sample!

 

I cased this from a Leadership "Clothesline" display/contest sample so I cannot give credit to the original creator.  This isn't an exact copy but very similar so if the idea came from you, please let me know and I will give you credit.  This card is easy peasy and so elegant looking in real life.  I have also made this using Stampin'Up!'s note card/envelope sets, so then it is even easier yet!  I have put together Sale A Bration kits with all the needed items for the card.
