New Catalog sneak peak!

I am playing and creating today using new sneak peak product from the upcoming Stampin'Up! Catalog which goes live June lst!  Are you coming to my New Catalog Kick Off event this week?  Attendees get a copy of the brand new catty!  So do you see what new product I used on this card?  I used the Bigz Clear Oval Accent die, cut it in half, and then embossed with the square lattice folder.  The stamped image was stamped in Soft Suede and is from the new Layered Labels stamp set, and then die cut with the new Apothecary Accents framelits. I was going to use the new buttons but decided to use the neutral brads instead.  I hope you like.  I seem to be on a masculine card kick lately and love using Soft Suede and Early Espresso together. 

Medallion stamp is retiring! Get it now!

This large background stamp makes such beautiful cards!  This picture is definitely not the best, but wanted to share anyway.  This image was stamped in versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The sentiment is from Oval All and that is also retiring.  Click on the retired list on the sidebar and check out the list! 

Punch Art! It's crazy here!

Here is some of what I have been busy doing.  This is some of the class by mail and I am finally caught up. Those registered got theirs on time.  These were post class orders. I had some order the past months also.  Our albums will be so fabulous with all the different pages!  Inspiration came from several and I have credited them in past posts.  Just a reminder to check out the clearance rack on my website or by clicking on the Shop Online widget on the sidebar.  There may be some punches left that are retiring.  Or albums.  I know the 6 x 6 page protectors are gone.  June's punch art class is the 21st at my home.  If there is enough interest we may continue.  I love the punch art ideas for scrapbooking and/or cardmaking!

M & M punch art

This is one of the cards from my May Punch Art Class.  Thanks to Ellen Kemper for the inspiration.  I used the 1 3/4", and 3/4" circle punches, modern label,  owl & cupcake builder, large & XL oval, and the word window punches for this card.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  This class is also available by mail.  Details were on a previous post.  I used the white gel pen to make the "m", and colors are Whisper White, Real Red, and Basic Black.

New In Color Sneak Peak, Bring On the Cake stamp set

This card was made by Sarah Fitch, one of my downline, for a swap.  It uses all the incoming In Colors, markers and cardstock.  Thank you, Sarah!  Now I can have a sample for customers to see in just one card!  Colors are MIdnight Muse, Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit, Raspberry Ripple, and Primrose Petals.  The sentiment is from the Bring on the Cake stamp set.  After adhering the strips of cardstock, she ran it through the Big Shot with the stripes embossing folder.  Love it!

A New Punch Art Class!

 

You are invited to attend my Punch Art Stamp Camp for the month of May.! This is the third in a series of 4 camps.

In this class you’ll create a 6 x 6 scrapbook, which will contain the instructions on how to create all the little creatures, people and more punch art things than you can imagine!

Make three different punch art samples, two of each design. One will be added to a finished card and the other will be put onto a 6x6 sheet of cardstock with the punched pieces as a guide.  This way you can reference it and duplicate it again and again.  Stampin' Up! has the most amazing punches!  Now you can learn loads of new ideas for using them.

The first class will be the 3^rd Thursday of the month, March 15^th, then April 19th, May 17th and June 21st. Classes are from 6:30 - 8:30 pm and cost is $15 or FREE with a $30.00 product order. Class location is my home.   Don't forget to bring your own adhesive and scissors to class.

 

Live too far away to attend?   You can still participate!  The cost is $22 and this includes shipping, the 3 finished 6 x 6 instruction guides and the 3 sample cards.  If you pay by paypal, the cost is $23 because of the fees.

Graduation Owl Punch Art

I tweaked a few punch ideas from Dawn Olchefske and Mandy from Australia, working around retiring punches. Punches I used on this card are:

Scallop Circle (1 3/4), 1 3/8" Circle, 1/2" circle, Cupcake Builder, Petite Pennant Builder, Word Window and Modern Label

I made the mortarboard by cutting a 3/4" strip of basic black cardstock.  I didn't get a tassle added yet, but will probably use white baker's twine. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, a must have set.

I Dig You stamp set

This is such a cute stamp set for little boys!  And it is fun to do the masking and the pop ups!  I used the Summer Smooches designer series paper which will be in the next catalog that goes live on June lst!!  The card base is Pool Party and I used the new Daffodil Delight seam binding, another sneak peak from the upcoming catalog!  I have posted details of my Catalog Kickoff in a previous post!  Are you coming?  We will be using lots of new product - fun, fun!
