Another Embellished Events stamp set sample!

 

Here is a fun card using new product, too!  I used the Large Scallop Edgelists, page 190, the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack, page 181, and the Be of Good Cheer designer series paper, page 164.  The Very Vanilla Circle is punched using the 1 3/4 inch circle punch and layered on a circle from the Circles #2 Originals Die, page 193.  See the pearl on Santa's hat?  I used a variety of circle punches for the Raspberry Ripple circles on the Very Vanilla layer which is layered on Gumball Green cardstock.  The stamped image and the words, merry christmas are from the Embellished Events stamp set, page 40.

I am having fun creating with the new Embellished Events stamp set from the new Stampin'Up! catalog.  I used the Delicate Designs Embossing folder, page 188.  It is one of two folders sold as a set for $8.95.  I sponged Raspberry Ripple over it and I used the new Ticket Duo builder punch, page 182, for the vase.  This may be one of the cards for my Embellished Events Card Class.  Are you signed up yet?  I am extending the deadline to July 31st, 5 p.m.  Details are on an earlier post.  This class will be held at my home and it is also available as a Class by Mail!  Contact me, either by email, or phone, 605-660-2301. 

Watercolor Winter stamp set

Here is my convention swap card.  It uses the Watercolor Winter stamp set and the Greetings of the Season stamp set from the upcoming Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog.  I love two step stamping!  I stamped the solid image off on scrap paper, then stamped again on the cardstock, followed with full strength ink on the detailed image.  I only used one color ink pad for this effect, Cherry Cobbler.  On some of the cards, I used the basic pearls and on most I used the new Stampin' Dazzle Marker (Silver) to color in the berries.  (Pg 19 of the upcoming Holiday Catalog).

Embellished Events Card Class!

I am loving this brand new Stampin'Up! Embellished Events stamp set!  It has 6 different images and words that are separate.  I won't have to marker to omit or cut the stamp apart myself!  Woo Hoo!  And the big reason I love, love, love this stamp set is because they are solid images that I won't have to color!  Bonus!!!!  So if you are as excited as I am with this set, register for the class!  The location will be determined when I know how many are registered.  This event is open to my downline's customers so hopefully we have a nice crowd!!  I can do this as a class by mail, too.  Add $5 to the fee to cover shipping, and I will send the supplies for you to make your cards, with emailed pictures and instructions if need be.  Or add $10 to cover the shipping AND I will make the cards for you.  This is for US participants only.  Okay, here is the flier!  I did not make the card shown. It was made by TeriBStampin.  I am not sure if this will be one of the cards or not.  See how the rhinestones work perfectly on it?   Okay, off to pack for convention.  I arrive in Salt Lake City tomorrow - July 15th!  Ooooooh, I am soooooo excited.

Reason to Smile stamp set

The  Reason to Smile stamp set is Stampin'Up!'s July promotion!  Purchase $50 before shipping and tax, and get this stamp set for $5.00.  I have a picture of the stamp set further down in my posts.  I used lots of new product on this card!  The So Sorry is from the So Sorry stamp set (page 137) and it includes different inside words.  I also used the Labels Collection Framelits, page 191, and the brand new Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack, page 181and the new Stampin' Pierce Mat on the same page.  The card base is Midnight Muse with a layer of More Mustard.  Very Vanilla is the inside card layer and the stamped layer on the front.   Reason to Smile is a 2 step stamping set.  I markered up the solid image, stamped off, then stamped on the cardstock.  Then I markered the detailed image and stamped full strength.  Yankton club members will be making this card tomorrow night!
