Stamping with Lynn

Owl got glasses!

My downline wanted a card for a workshop with eye clinic employee attendees, using the owl punch and the Core'dinations Cardstock (page 6 - Holiday Catalog),  and the owl wearing glasses.  I think I got the job done!  I used Stampin'Up!'s owl builder punch for all except for the temple pieces and the beak.  This was done using the bird builder punch and it is part of the leafy stem.  You could free hand this, too, if you like.  I also used the Petite Pennant Builder punch for the beak.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, a must have set for 24 different sentiments.  This was punched with the Word Window and layered on a Modern Label punched piece.  These two punches coordinate with the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set perfectly!  My card base and owl are Soft Suede, then a layer of Basic Black and the Early Espresso Core'dinations paper from the Holiday Catalog.  I embossed it with the woodgrain embossing folder, page 33 of the Holiday Catalog. This is popped up with dimensionals so it appears the owl is sitting inside the hole.  The hole is punched with the 1 3/4" circle punch. The glasses are Gumball Green.

Nutcracker Punch Art backstage gifts

A few of the backstage gifts for some of the Act I fellow castmates, Party Scene guys, Prince, Clara, and Mouse King.  I have more to make today yet before the final performance this afternoon.  This is the last Nutcracker for our son and our granddaughter as they are seniors.  It will be an emotional afternoon!  I used a variety of Stampin'Up! punches, and then just placed them on designer series wrapped candy bars.  The Mouse King loved the crown!  It is from the Carry On Hostess stamp set.  The toy soldier punch art was inspired by Richelle, an Australian stamper.  I did add boots and changed out a few things.

Update:  Here are photos of the punch art guide sheets from my Punch Art Classes.  These punches are retired but if you have them or can use something similar, these guides may help you.  

Bootiful Occasions stamp set

Here are two more samples using the Bootiful Occasions stamp set.  One of my Latte Ladies team members went to Dawn Olchefske's stamping event in August and made the dress card, possibly the other one, too.  I just love this set and hope to get a lot of stamping using it.  Happy Thanksgiving!

This just may be a sneak peak for the Christmas Stamp a Stack next week.  Are you registered yet?  Details on yesterday's post.  My card base is Baja Breeze with Not Quite Navy.  I masked one boot and stamped the second.  It is hard to see but I used the Dazzling Details glitter adhesive, page 158 of the Stampin'Up! catalog.  Then it is finished off with the Silver Glimmer paper snowflake die cut from the Snow Flurry Bigz Die, page 14 of the Holiday Catalog.  I really had to have this set.  I will post more samples soon.

Make a Mitten Stamp Set

I keep designing and changing my mind what club members will make tonight.  Now, I am thinking this card will be a good one.  I stamped the mittens from the Make a Mitten stamp set (page 11, Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog) with Early Espresso, and punched with the Mitten Builder Punch (#127824 $15.95),and embossed the 2.5" circle with the Northern Flurry embossing folder.  The strip of dsp is from the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Pack, page 20, $6.95, #126904.  The sentiment is from the Winter Memories stamp set. Card base is Crumb Cake with a layer of Very Vanilla.
