For Your Country stamp set

Here is my swap card I designed for last night's team gathering.  I cut and prepped all before my stamp set arrived yesterday!  The Thank You is included in this set and I added it after assembling.  It doesn't show up well and probably would have done it differently had I had the set in hand while "playing"!  I used the Work of Art stamp set for the image background.  Stampin'Up! cardstock and ink used are Lost Lagoon, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, and Early Espresso. Kissing Technique

 

I "kissed" the Kinda Eclectic sunburst stamp (Lost Lagoon ink) with the solid flower Beautiful Bunch stamp (Soft Sky ink) and punched with the new Fun Flower punch that coordinates with this stamp set!  I love it when Stampin'Up! has punches and stamps that work great together! By "kissing" the stamps, the image has the stripes on the petals!  The sentiment, butterfly, and the "dots" on the soft sky strip are also from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.  The stamp is die cut with the Flower Frenzy bigz die.  My card base is Whisper White with a layer of Soft Sky and Basic Black, which is topped with a Whisper White layer that is run through the Big Shot with the new Large Polka Dot embossing folder.  My stem is Pear Pizzazz.  The flower center is from the Beautiful Bunch stamp set and is stamped with Versamark onto Hello, Honey cardstock and then punched with the 7/8" Scallop Circle punch and layered onto a black 1 inch circle.  Order here.

Cycle Celebration stamp set

Finally got this cute stamp set by Stampin'Up!  The top cycle is stamped with Blackberry Bliss but the other cycles are stamped with versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.  The top card used the Work of Art stamp set for the cycle background.  The bottom two were sponged.  This is an ink resist technique.  The inside says Happy Birthday to You which is also included in this stamp set.  Cardstock and Ink colors are Whisper White, Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, and Hello, Honey!  You can order this stamp set here.

I held this class the day I left home to begin my week's stay in Salt Lake City for Stampin'Up!'s Inspire Create Share event.  The Work of Art card was inspired by Sandi MacIver but the rest I created and used for convention swapping. This was also my BOGO event where you browse my retired product, and whatever you choose, you order that amount from the new catty.  Then the retired product is FREE!  If you are local and want to browse, I do still have my stamps accessible.  Just set up an appointment to look.  I used lots of new product on these cards and the newest In Colors of which I am so in love with.  We used the blendabilities to color the large flower card.  Stamp sets used are Work of Art, About the Label, Blended Bloom, Beautiful Bunch, and the sentiments are from the And Many More stamp set, the Wetlands stamp set, and the Sassy Salutations stamp set.

My Convention swaps

 

Three of these I designed for shoebox swaps, where most are made ahead of time, then others make them at the swap.  The Beautiful Bunch Wisteria Wonder card and the Blackberry Bliss birthday card were for two organized swaps where you premade 41 and 51 of each and then you swapped and received that many back.  I did not do any general swapping because of the 5 different swaps I was in.  I loved all my trades!  I used the Something for Baby stamp set, Beautiful Bunch stamp set, About the Label stamp set, Bloom for You single stamp, and sentiment sets are from the Sassy Salutations stamp set, Itty Bitty Banners stamp set, And Many More stamp set, and the Wetlands stamp set.  I had a fabulous time at the Stampin'Up! Inspire, Create, Share convention!  It is like a reunion meeting up with other demonstrator friends, meeting new and making new friendships! I will be back next year!

Bloom with Hope Hostess stamp set

Wow, this hostess stamp set is fabulous!  Beside the 4 flower images it also has a stem and a leafy branch AND 5, yes 5, great sentiments! Stampin'Up!'s Flower Frenzy Bigz Die

I'm back!  Sorry for no recent posts!  It has been quite a month!  I had an uncle pass away on June 10th, a new grandbaby born on June 12th, and another uncle (brother in law to the other, married to sisters, my aunts) pass away on June 25th.  Lots of relatives were here for the funerals, took time off from my day care, and then working on convention swaps so I have been busy, busy, and unfortunately neglecting my blog.  I leave Saturday night for my newest grandbaby's baptism, then early Sunday morning for Salt Lake City!  I am so ready for a week with stamping friends and my sister!  See the new product on this card?  I used a couple of the newest In Colors, Blackberry Bliss and Hello, Honey!  The sentiment is from the new stamp set, And Many More, all of which can be punched with the Word Window Punch and/or the Modern Label punch.  The flowers and stems are from the Flower Frenzy Bigz Die and I used the In Color designer series paper stack.  My card base is Whisper White with layers of Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss, and Mossy Meadow for the leafy stem. The butterfly is stamped using the Papillon Potpourri stamp set and is punched with the Bitty Butterfly Punch This is not one of my convention swaps.  I will share those later so that I don't spoil the surprise for the other swappers.
