Now this is probably not recommended by Stampin'Up! but it has worked for me. I use an extra piece of cardstock to reinforce the notched tabs from the Gift Box Punch Board. It would probably work better for the punching if you used Whisper White, Very Vanilla, or coordinating designer series paper but I wanted to use the same cardstock as my box so it would not be so noticeable. I was making boxes and I was probably overfilling them, and my notched tabs would tear, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! So then I started doing this. Again, do at your own risk!
Finished tab!
The punched piece against Whisper White so you can visualize.
I punched with a 1" Circle punch on any corner. Adhere to your corners BEFORE punching your notches.
The finished box! Wala!
My box size is 1.75 x 1.75 x 1.75 and I use a 6 x 6 piece of cardstock for it. My base is Cherry Cobbler with 1.5" squares of Whisper White. I used the Project Life Holiday Cheer stamp set for the sides and the Merry Everything stamp set for the tag. Enjoy!
