Quick and Simple card layout

My card bases are either Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe, Real Red, or Basic Black cardstock. Then I used various sheets of the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack, #137779, from the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog.  I love this 4.5" x 6.5" inch pad of paper.  One side has oooh, so pretty colors, and the opposite sides are all black and white designs so you can use year round!  Love, love, love this paper.  My focal cardstock piece is 2.5" x 4.5", and then I just flagged the bottom.  The sentiments are from the Snuggles & Smooches stamp set or the Perfect Pennants stamp set.  The hearts are cut using the Hearts Border punch, #133784 and the Sweetheart Punch, #133786 from page 222.  I stamped with the Black Memento ink.  You can whip out a bunch of these Valentine Cards easy peasy!

Snuggles & Smooches Photopolymer stamp set

This Snuggles & Smooches stamp set (#140326) was Stampin'Up!'s December Photopolymer release.  I love red and black together for Valentine's cards.  My card base is Whisper White and I stamped with Memento Black and Real Red inks.  My small hearts are punched with the Hearts Border punch, #133784, page 222, and the large heart is punched with the Sweetheart punch, #133786, also on page 222.  I added Basic Rhinestones to finish it off.  The strip of dsp is from the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper stack, #137779, page 5 of the new Occasions Catalog.  Here is my first card that I made with this set which was posted previously.

 

A Happy Thing stamp set, a FREE Salebration choice!

Earn this set FREE with a $50 subtotal order!  I paired it with the Park Lane designer series paper, the Large Scallop edgelit, and the Delicate Designs embossing folder.  My card base is Soft Suede with layers of Daffodil Delight and Whispr White.  Then I used a thread from the Burlap Ribbon.  The bird is colored with various Blendabilities.  I am not a bird expert and do not know what bird this is or how to color him but I wanted the colors to coordinate with my card.  I hope you like!

From the Herd Viewmaster Card

Since I got this stamp set, I have had this idea in my head.  And I think it actually worked out great!  This is not a quick, easy peasy card, but love how it turned out.  I had made one of these cards years ago but needed a refresher on how to do it so I googled Viewmaster card tutorial and I followed one on Splitcoaststampers.com.  What is a Viewmaster card?  A circle turns and different images appear.  I hope you like!

I stamped several times on scrap cardstock and punched out the different faces with the 1 3/8" circle punch.  I used the pig to cover up my brad and the designer series paper is from the Adventure Bound designer series paper stack.  Various blendabilities were used to color the images.  My main circle is the 3 largest framelit from the Circles Collection framelits

Guy Greetings stamp set

Butterfly Basics stamp set, Gift Box Punch Board, Butterflies Thinlits Dies

With the lights out!

My box base is Perfect Plum and I had to cut a piece 11" x 11", then I followed the box directions for the box size of 4 x 4 x 3.25.  I cut a piece of cardstock vellum that was a little smaller than 4 x 3.25.  I folded my cut box very carefully over the butterfly framelit.  On a piece of Elegant Eggplant I put some adhesive sheet on one side and cut another butterfly.  I do use a dryer sheet 4 sheets thick under all and it all pops out just beautifully.  I placed the vellum behind the cut butterfly shape and then placed the Elegant Eggplant butterfly with the sticky adhesive on top of the vellum in the front of the box.  I also stamped with versamark some of the other images and stamped 2 butterfly images also from this set and punched out with the Butterfly punch.  Finished it off with pearls.  What do you think?  This set is in the new Stampin'Up! Snuggles and Smooches Photopolymer stamp set

Wood You Be Mine stamp set

All of the images shown are included in this Wood You Be Mine stamp set from the 2015 Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog.  This is a photopolymer set and it has a stamp that covers just the shirt part so you can add another color to his shirt, and it is so easy peasy to do!  I stamped the background images with versamark, and the focal image with Memento Black ink, coloring in with various Blendabilities.  The Woodgrain embossing folder was used for the Early Espresso strip on the left.  My card base is Crumb Cake with layers of Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, and Very Vanilla.  Click here to place an online order with me and you will receive a card in the mail from me for you to use or hoard!

My card base on this one is Sahara Sand, and I have added Crystal Effects to the eyes, and popped up the word bubble AND the pig's head!

 

Which sample do you like better?  Both sentiments are from this stamp set, but I used the Word Bubbles framelits to cut them out.  The strip of designer series paper on the left is from the Adventure Bound designer series paper stack.  My card base is Mossy Meadow with layers of Cajun Craze and Very Vanilla.  I may change the card base to a lighter color.  What do you think?
