12 x 12 Patriotic Sampler, For Your Country stamp set (retired), a repost for Memorial Day!

Thank you to all who have served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice!  This stamp set is retired but I will not part with it.  Last year I had a class where attendees made this sampler.  Here are a few other cards I have made with this set. Eastern Beauty bundle, Sunflower Card, Bunch of Blossoms bundle

My version of the sunflower using the Eastern Medallions thinlits.  Patty Bennett made a large one but I did a smaller one, using the smaller petal thinlits die and the 1 inch circle punch, that is run through the Big Shot with the Softly Falling textured embossing folder.  I used a stamp from the Eastern Beauty stamp set for the "spatter" in the background.  It is done with Crumb Cake ink that is stamped off once.  Stampin'Up! has an early release of this Eastern Palace Suite with two special bundles that are only available as this special bundle in May!  With each bundle, you get something FREE!  June 1st, it will only be bundled as a stamp set and dies!  The other items will have to be purchased separately.  Here is a link to the flier with the two bundles.

Wood Words Stamp Set, Wood Crate Framelits, Bundle

Love this bundle!  And when you pair it with the Wood Textures designer series paper stack, it is even better!  I used the Woodland Textured Embossing folder for my background on the new In Color Tranquil Tide!  I made my fence by die cutting part of the wood crate and then used the Classic Label punch for my posts. The rooster is die cut out of the wood dsp and then it is stamped on Very Vanilla and die cut, and then placed inside the negative rooster, if that makes sense!  I made this card especially for this Stampin'Up! Only challenge!

Happy Birthday Thinlits Die in the new 2017-18 In Colors!

June 1st is coming soon and you can get your hands on these new In Colors and the Happy Birthday Thinlits die!  I used adhesive sheets on the back of the card stock before running it through the Big Shot, so it was easy peasy to adhere them to my card fronts.  And guess what!  Adhesive Sheets are returning in the new Stampin'Up! Annual Catalog!  Woo Hoo!  I used the new Fresh Florals designer series paper stack for my cards.  The new colors are Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink, Berry Burst, and Tranquil Tide!  The Lemon Lime Twist looks really striking paired with Black but I wanted to just use the In Colors on these cards.  Also see the bows?  They are little felt bows with a mini glue dot already affixed on the back.  Something more to add to your wish list!

Pieces & Patterns stamp set, Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper

Pieces & Patterns is a cute stamp set with line art for a variety of coloring techniques.  I used a blender pen and Emerald Envy ink to color my dinosaur.  My tip for conserving designer series paper is to cut in strips of 2" x 4".  Cut this strip in half and cover up the space with a die cut or punched piece.  Here I used the Layering Ovals and the Stitched Shapes framelits.  These Stampin'Up! products will be available to purchase June 1st!  Happy stamping!

Minion Card using Stampin'Up! current products!

There are a lot of Minion Cards on Pinterest but I could not find any with the sizes, supplies listed and I wanted to use current product so here is my version.  I made a half inch x half inch square of Pacific Point.  Then I put it on a post it note and used the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch to punch out the inside circle.  I also used a strip of Pacific Point that is 1" x 3/4" and then used the Envelope Punch board to round two corners.  My coveralls are made with the Stitched Shapes Squares and the Classic Label punch.  The buttons are from the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch also.  The smile is the 1.5" Circle Punch. I punched along an edge of Black card stock, then moved my punch a bit and punched again, getting the "smile". The hair is from the Everyday Jars Framelits dies and then cut in half.  I didn't want my hair off of the card, because it has to fit in the envelope. The strip of black is 1" x 4", and the eyes are Smoky Slate (1.5"), White (1 3/8"), Soft Suede (3/4"), and Black (1/2").  Don't forget the Chalk Marker for the sparkle in the eyes!  This card is for a granddaughter's time capsule.  She is in Preschool and this will be opened for her high school graduation!
