Buffalo Check stamp set, Rooted in Nature stamp set

 

Wow, this turned out differently than what I had in mind originally.  I looked at the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper to get a color combo idea.  I thought I would do a fall card with a pumpkin maybe but as you can see, that didn't happen.  Anyway, I went with Mango Melody and Early Espresso.  It was my first time to use the Buffalo Check background stamp and I tried different colors of card stock and different techniques for stamping.  Some times I used ink to stamp, sponge brayer to stamp, and/or the Stamparatus.  These cards were done with the Stamparatus for the Buffalo Check.  This way if I didn't get good coverage, I could just ink up again and stamp in the exact same place again!  Which card do you like better?  The Early Espresso card base or the Very Vanilla card base?  Stampin'Up! supplies are below.  The Buffalo Check stamp is in the just released Holiday Catalog.
