My first attempt at the Floating Strip Technique! This was really easy to do, and I plan on trying other color combos, shapes, and stamp sets. I wanted to use the Cutest Halloween Bundle and the Cute Halloween designer series paper, so I chose my strip colors from the designer series paper. My strips are 1/4" x 3", and adhered with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (light touch of glue) onto a 3 x 3 Window Sheet square. I did trim an end off as I was ending with a clear area instead of a cardstock strip. The trick to make it "floating" is to add adhesive strips behind a few of the colored strips! Easy peasy! TIP: Place your window sheet over some grid paper. I used the Stamparatus grid paper. This way you can keep your strips straight! I am thinking of die cutting one a different shape, maybe from the Hippo & Friends Dies. The possibilities are endless. Love this bundle, and the Halloween Punch did punch my cat face and the ghost from the designer series paper. Stampin'Up! supplies are below, and if you order this bundle from me, I will send you a card made with it! And it is Sale a Bration now, (August & September), so you earn FREE with qualifying orders!
