I did not want the slim card size, so I just die cut part of my cardstock layer by positioning my cutting plate only over part of my layer, then "nest" the die, by lining up the thin and thick points and die cutting the bottom with the cutting plate over where I need to die cut. You can "feel" when you have the die lined up correctly. The secret is to only have the cutting plate over what you want die cut. Check out the new Stylish Shapes Dies, page 175 of the brand new catalog. I think these will be a "must have" set of dies. I die cut my sentiment with the largest circle from this set. It is that time of year for Graduation Cards, and I like how this turned out.
The top part of the die is cutting.
The bottom of the die is under the cutting plate.
I made this card with our school colors. Stampin'Up! supplies are below, just click to order. Happy stamping!
